参与者只需拿起听筒，按下按钮，便可似置身到对应场景中，鲜活地重历某段 “声音记忆” 。 过往的声音是一种通道，它以琥珀态将某段时空的记忆凝固封存，每一段声音都隐藏着一个故事、一片记忆的地图。在这个声场中可以感知到人与周遭环境的关系，以及作为社会个体在城市中的定位。
“声音不仅是我们与世界互动的方式，更是我们理解世界、理解自我的一种途径。”易烊千玺表示。
Also at World Design Capital Conference 2024, public telephones and phone booths are placed across different floors of the exhibition’s public areas, each preloaded with unique sound samples. These audio clips are field recordings collected by Jackson Yee in his daily life.
Visitors only need to pick up the receiver and press a button to be immersed in corresponding scenes and relive vivid auditory memories. Sounds from the past act as a passage of time. Like amber preserving ancient relics, they freeze moments in time and space. Every sound holds a story and a fragment of memory. Within this soundscape, people can perceive the bond between humans and their surroundings, as well as their place as individuals in the city.
"Sound is not only how we interact with the world, but also a way for us to understand the world and ourselves," Jackson Yee remarked.
