Jackson Yee created two sets of Polaroid photographs. One captures the Honey Beasts alongside the E30 car model, while the other features clusters of yellow azalea blooms breaking through the rigid car body and growing freely. Under the lamplight, both the beasts and golden blossoms take on fresh forms. The interplay of reality and illusion, shape and spirit visualizes the alienated charm of the same object, embodying Men De Er Mi’s spirit of being ordinary in public yet distinctive at heart.
