2016年，在某综艺的好书分享环节，易烊千玺推荐了朱赢椿 「设计诗」：“这本书适合两类人，一类是看书容易犯困的人，一类是做设计的人，全书文字靠排版构图成诗，想象力和创意空间很大。”
同年9月他于微博晒出手稿，参照该书形式创作汉字搭配简笔画的视觉小诗；多年后，还与该书作者朱赢椿合作出书 「豆腐」。
In a book-recommendation segment on a variety show back in 2016, Jackson Yee recommended Design Poems by Zhu Yingchun. He remarked: “This book suits two kinds of readers: those who easily get sleepy while reading, and those who engages in design. Its poems are shaped entirely through typographic layout, leaving immense room for imagination and creativity.”
That September, he posted handwritten drafts of original visual comics on his personal Weibo, combining Chinese characters with simple lines. Years later, he collaborated with the book’s author Zhu Yingchun on another book titled Tofu.
