On April 5, 2024, Jackson Yee shared a short video on his personal website. The footage opens with a page of a book, on which two lines from Soviet poet Boris Pasternak are highlighted:
The traveller’s melancholy glides within the book, Lying upon the settee alongside the volume.
A sketch occupies the blank margin of the page, faintly inscribed with Me at this moment. The camera pans to reveal his silhouette reflected on the window, uniting poem, self and artwork.
