Released in June 2025, Wedge Stone is Jackson Yee’s conceptual EP consisting of four tracks: Wedge Timber, Fengshi, Mountain Blooms and Footstep Whispers.
Centered on Fengshi, a secluded mountain keeper, who gets his name from his late father’s words: everyone meets an unyielding stone in life, to pause, listen and guard the mountain’s silence. The record draws imagery of woodlands, boulders, vegetation and wildflowers to ruminate on seeking and loss, exploring core life themes of silence versus expression, searching versus disappearance, preservation versus forging ahead. This theme were further carried over into his concert tour later that year.
